India maintained their unbeaten record in this World Cup till now. They defeated West Indies by a massive 125 runs in their previous game. Team India is doing excellent work in every department whether it is batting, bowling and fielding. They have pretty much balanced batting and bowling attack but need to do excel if they really want to qualify for the top four. Pitch Report: Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The weather is expected to be clear and sunny on match day. We should not have any weather-related interruptions. A lot more scrutiny will be placed on the playing surface. We think a fresh pitch is going to be used for this match but that does not change the nature of the underlying square. The pitch will be better to bat on than what we saw in the previous match here but will still help the spinners in the second half.
