On the other hand, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and South Africa claimed their victories against Afghanistan in this tournament as Afghanistan suffered four defeats in their first four matches of this tournament.

The big news from England camp is that Jason Roy is ruled out due to hamstring tear from next 2 WC games and James Vince will replace him in the Playing XI. This is a very big blow for England as Roy was in his best form ever this WC,Captain Eoin Morgan aslo had some back injury issues and he didn’t bat in last game against Windies. He is still in doubt regarding playing in this game. If Morgan doesn’t get fit in time Moeen Ali will replace him and Jos Buttler will lead the side. Jonny Bairstow and J Vince will open the inning for England. Bairstow is a very attacking batsman while Vince is also a strong solid batsman scoring tons of runs in the domestic circuit. Bairstow got to starts in last few games but was unable to convert it into big innings.

Joe Root will bat at 1 down. He is the Pillar of England team. He had a All-round match against Windies. Firstly taking 2 wickets with ball and then a brilliant century with the bat.

Moeen Ali(if plays) will bat at 5 down and do the All Rounding duties. He is a excellent hitter of the ball and is very good with his off spin. He can bat at 4 if Morgan doesn’t play. Chris Woakes will bat next. The all-rounder Woakes has been a sensation for England in the recent past. He not only delivers with the ball but also got the ability to give those crucial runs for the team. He scored a very good 40 witj bat coming at 3 and also took 1 wicket.
Moeen(if plays) and A Rashid will lead spin attack for the team. Moeen is known for his tight line and length while Rashid is a attacking leg spinner. Afghanistan

The Afghans lost 4 of 4 matches and now. And are virtually out of the tournament. They would be looking to surprise the hosts but will be a tough tough task.
They are totally looking down and helpless at the moment with nothing going their way. M Nabi also failed in all the games with the bat, while their management is doing some nonsense team selection.
Najib Zadran who was Afghanistan highest scorer this WC was removed from playing XI. He is expected to come in playing XI, also Dawlat Zadran their best pacer is expected to come in place of Hamid Hasan.
Hard hitting batsman Hazratullah Zazai and Noor Ali Zadran will open the innings. Zazai is enormous talent and a very threatening batsman in the powerplay. Noor Ali is also a good batsman. Both went on to score 30’s but were unable to make a big score.

Ever reliable Rahmat shah will bat 1 down. He just scored a century against Scotland. He scored 43 in 1st game but failed after that game in all the matches. He is also handy with his leg-spin bowling,Left Handed Hashmatullah Shahidi will bat next at 4. H Shahidi is also in a great form. For Afghanistan, Shahidi is one of the batsmen to rely on. The only problem is that he plays very slow. He scored 59 in last match in 99 balls. He plays very slow.

M Nabi will bat at 5. Nabi has a lot of experience with him and is currently the No 3 all round in world. He is excellent hitter of ball and also very good off spinner. He took 4 wickets against SL. He is in very bad form with the bat and failed in all the matches.
G Naib will bat next. He is a hard hitting batsman with good technique. However, his primary focus will be his bowling. He is known for his tight line and length and is a wicket taking bowler.

World no 1 bowler Rashid Khan and Mohammed Nabi will lead the spin attack of the team. Rashid can also bat. Rashid haven’t looked in best form as he always does. There are no wickets in his bag and batsman are playing him very nicely. Dawlat Zadran (if plays), Aftab Alam and H Hasan(risky) will lead the pace attack along with G Naib. Dawlat Zadran have good experience of bowling for Afghanistan but didn’t feature in last game, while Hamid hasan impressed everyone with his pace bowling. Aftab Alam is known fir his variations in bowling. He took 3 wickets against NZ.
